Welcome to Wayland Weston Crew

Getting Started

  • Our mission is to offer a competitive rowing program that fosters individual growth for students at all levels of their rowing journey.

We seek to balance competition with inclusiveness, providing a place for both beginning and accomplished athletes. We measure success in various ways: from winning races to personal achievements.

  • Check out our programs on ArbiterSports!

For those participating in the High School Spring or Fall season, you must also register with your school:

    Wayland

    Weston

  • Check out our helpful guidebook for those who are joining us for the first time.

  • All new rowers and coxswains are required to take and pass a swim test.

Those participating in summer programs must take and pass a new swim test each year.

Those who do not or cannot pass the swim test will row in a life jacket.

  • All participants are required to maintain a USRowing membership and waiver. There are several types:

    Supporter: For volunteers only

Learn to Row: Good for 60 days only

Basic: Required for on-water programming, unless a Learn to Row membership applies. Required for programs that race, including the Youth Fall season

Championship: Provides additional benefits, required for the Youth Spring season.

When asked for a club code, use EUZXC.
