A dozen top rowing programs from the area participated in this year’s annual Wayland-Weston Invitational Regatta. Wayland-Weston got to test itself at midseason against some of the very best, mostly private school, programs and did quite well. The videos embedded in this post cover ALL the action… every race. So check it out from You Tube! Thanks to Joe Vitagliano, Roy Galang, and Eric Bucher …

Thank you to all the rowers and fans who supported their team by sporting that logo and buying the Invitational Race T-shirt.  Our merchandise sales at the race  were a record high!!  Can you believe that the other teams not only wanted the race T’s and tanks, but have actually taken to collecting our regular WWCrew merchandise as well???  We sold 117 race shirts and have 12 grey ones left for sale in size Med or large.  After a successful race, sales from merchandise have raised over $3000. For your team just this spring season.  There is still a great selection of items that will be on sale at Russell’s from now through the summer.  Now it’s time for me to focus on my day job!!   For your convenience Russell’s is open everyday and evenings til 8 P.M. Wednesday through Saturdays through May.

Hey Rowers, you know that mom of yours, who has volunteered for your team?  Well now is the time to treat her to a special Mother’s Day gift.  So stop by Russell’s for rowing gifts, plants, jewelry, hats, dresses, cards or a unique treasure!  Please pay for rowing items at the front RT 20 entrance by cash or check made to WWRA.  Thanks again for your spirit and support!!
