Item 6: Admissions Advising session

Is your son or daughter interested in going to medical or dental school? Are they in high school thinking about what college to attend or in college wondering what major to consider?

If so, have your student spend an hour chatting about their goals, what activities to get involved in and how to best position themselves as a future medical or dental school applicant.

Dr. Davies is a WW alum parent, and former board member. In her role at Boston University School of Medicine, Graduate Medical Sciences, Dr. Davies-Heerema provides academic advising, instructs BioChem courses, and mentors students.

Tomo earned a degree at Berklee College of Music and has been a faculty member at Berklee since 1993. Perhaps the most famous of his former Berklee students are Soulive guitarist Eric Krasno (Kraz) and John Mayer. Tomo is also affiliated with the major music schools in his native Japan. His articles have been published in the Japanese magazines Jazz Life and Jazz Guitar, and he is a regular contributor to the Japanese edition of Guitar magazine.

Tomo has performed with some of the best, including Phil Collins, John Mayer, James Genus (Saturday Night Live), and Darryl Jones (Miles Davis, Sting, Rolling Stones), among many other notable musicians. Tomo also enjoyed a guitar-playing gig in the Boston production of the musical Rent.

Coach Coree Naslund will create a custom strength training program for you or your student-athlete. This is a great opportunity for someone new to strength training or experienced lifters, and would be appropriate for non rowers, new rowers, or college-bound rowers.
