Fall Season

Wayland-Weston Crew is a varsity sport at both high schools and is offered in the fall and spring seasons only to students enrolled in Wayland or Weston High School.

Typically, WW Crew starts pre-season training in August about 10 days before the beginning of school. Training continues through September, with the Ergathon as a highlight.  All of October is dedicated to racing in head races that are 5k endurance events. Usually, two or three WW Crew boats compete in the Head of the Charles Regatta.  The season wraps up with the NH Championships and the Fall Massachusetts Public School Rowing Association (MPSRA) Championships.
