High School Program

|
You are strongly encouraged to look at the Vespoli irow.com
(http://www.irow.com/) site. There is a link
(http://www.irow.com/recruiting/recruiting.cfm)
there for high school rowers to register in the database, one
which is reviewed by college rowing coaches. Several WWRA rowers
have been contacted by Harvard, UNC Chapel Hill, and others as a result of
registering. If you register during the season, however, you should
not expect to hear much until after the racing season is over as the
coaches are pretty busy.
There is also a parents club on the site which has some
useful information (http://www.irow.com/parents/)
with one good article entitled
"How can Rowing help get my Child into College?"
In addition, a number of schools have contacted WWRA coaches regarding
